JAKARTA – Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (JCI) remained at the green zone throughout today’s (28/10) session until 3 PM WIB. The index only managed to pick up at 9 AM WIB.

Monitoring the board this afternoon, JCI remained idle at 7,770 nearing the end of today’s session in the stock exchange. This negative trend is quite similar with the pattern seen in early last two weeks.

JCI’s decline until this afternoon further dragged down stocks with jumbo market cap. Furthermore, it also weakens several indices, including LQ45 that slipped 1.07% to 933.119, IDX30 down 1.1% to 481.360, IDX80 down 0.80% to 134.148, and IDXESGL down 1.41% to 164.186.

Stocks with big market cap that were seen slowing down today were PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA).

In contrast, some of top stocks that saw positive shifts include PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD), PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), and PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO). (LK/ZH)
