MD Entertainment acquires 19% Net TV shares
JAKARTA - On Tuesday, October 29, PT Net Visi Media Tbk (NETV), a holding company for mass media, attracted a new investor after welcoming Newton Capital the week before. A production company called PT MD Entertainment Tbk purchased over 7.88 billion NETV shares, or about 19.07% of the company. This fantastic transaction was facilitated by PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia.
Additionally, Salim Lim acquired 357.78 million KBAG shares, or 5% ownership, through PT BNI Sekuritas, making him a new individual investor in PT Karya Bersama Anugerah Tbk (KBAG), a property development company in Balikpapan. Remaining in the real estate sector, PT Honoris Corporindo Pratama increased its stake in PT Modernland Realty Tbk (MDLN) by 75 million shares, strengthening its share percentage to 10.17%. Furthermore, Yulisar Khiat added 1.5 million shares to his holdings in PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), the company that runs Hermina Hospital.
Additionally, PT Steady Safe Tbk (SAFE) welcomed a new foreign investor, named BP2S SG/BNP Paribas Singapore Branch Wealth Management, which purchased 228.54 million shares through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia. Approximately 37.15% of the issuer's shares in the public transportation company are currently owned by this investor. In contrast, PT Infiniti Wahana, SAFE's controller, actually sold 221.14 million shares through PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, resulting in a drop in the share portion from 78.28% to 42.33%. This issuer owns and operates over 40,000 bus units as part of the Transjakarta service.
In the meantime, PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama continued to sell 50.46 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), a company that produces palm oil, while PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala sold 6.52 million shares of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), a company that provides financial services. Additionally, OONA Indonesia Pte Ltd, a foreign investor, released approximately 21.72 million shares of PT Asuransi Bina Dana Arta Tbk (ABDA), a general insurance company, and closed with INV Management Pte Ltd, which sold 14.77 million shares of PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR), a company that offers information security solutions across multiple industries.
