JAKARTA – Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (JCI) was sluggish at the beginning of today’s (7/11) session. Until 10.30 AM WIB, it still lounged around at 7,317.29.

Monitoring the board this morning, JCI has consistently suggested a downtrend since the opening bell at 9 AM WIB. The downturn of JCI hit its lowest within the past three weeks today, compared to its previous position at 7,700-ish.

Several indices that got corrected this morning include LQ45, down 0.91% to 893.247, IDX30 down 0.73% to 460.056, IDX80 down 0.86% to 129.171, and IDXESGL down 1.03% to 154.824.

Some blue-chip stocks were also seen weakening at the morning session, including PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR).

On the other hand, other issuers still managed to secure an upturn, such as PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR), PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL), PT Timah Tbk (TINS), and PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR). (LK/ZH)
