JAKARTA – The Indonesian government is once again scheduling an auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) next Thursday, November 14, 2024, with an indicative target of IDR 22 trillion.

There will be 8 series of SUN that will be auctioned off in this round, according to Directorate-General of Budget Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance. They will consist of 2 series of Treasury Notes (Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).

Both SPN series are offered with a coupon in the form of discounts, while 6 ON series will be equipped with coupons ranging from 6.5% to 7.12%.

All parties may submit their bids in the auction. However, the bid must be submitted through auction participants authorised by the Ministry of Finance.

According to IDNFinancials data, the Indonesian government has conducted 20 SUN auctions since the beginning of 2024. Total awarded amount received by the government from these SUN sukuk auctions has reached IDR 459.56 trillion. (KR/ZH)
