1.4 billion Gojek Tokopedia shares sold, net foreign volume drops to -996.75 million shares
JAKARTA - Foreign investors sold up to 1.40 billion shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), resulting in a net volume of -394.68 million shares. This transaction then led to an increase in foreign sales volume of 4.96 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was 3.97 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume to drop to -996.75 million.
Aside from GOTO, shares in mineral mining business PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) were sold for 759.39 million shares, with a net volume of -588.80 million shares. In the banking sector, foreign investors sold 222.15 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) for a net volume of -81.04 million shares and 123.22 million shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) for a net volume of -53.38 million shares. The next shares sold were 92.71 million shares of PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk (BSBK), a real estate development company, with a net volume of -50.62 million shares.
Meanwhile, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), a precious metal mining business, had 88.35 million shares purchased, with a net volume of 59.85 million shares. Furthermore, the most shares purchased were done to the hotel and resort management company PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), namely 400.80 million shares, with a net volume of 55.84 million shares. In addition, 53.49 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), a domestic and overseas shipping services company, were purchased, for a net volume of 51 million shares. The shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were then purchased for 58.26 million shares with a net volume of 47.25 million shares, followed by the purchase of 43.87 million shares of the business and management consulting services company PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF) with a net volume of 36.82 million shares.
