Gojek Tokopedia share highly sold, net foreign volume drops to -1.16 billion shares
JAKARTA - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO)’s shares were sold at a large number on Thursday, November 14, totalling 1.65 billion shares, for a net volume of -457.32 million shares. This transaction became one of the reasons that caused foreign sell volume to increase to 4.54 billion shares. Furthermore, the foreign buy volume was only 3.37 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume to drop at -1.16 billion shares.
Aside from GOTO, foreign investors also sold shares of the coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) for 609.77 shares for a total net volume of -394.17 million shares. Shares of its mineral mining subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), were sold for 342.70 million shares, with a net volume of -65.97 million shares. PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) shares in the general mining contractor services business were sold for 218.40 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -68.02 million shares. Then, 58.22 million shares of the media company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) were sold, for a net volume of -53.41 million shares.
In contrast, 140.97 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were purchased for a net volume of 65.09 million shares. Furthermore, shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were purchased for 29.85 million shares, with a net volume of 24.82 million shares. Shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) were then purchased for 20.65 million shares with a net volume of 19.14 million shares, followed by the purchase of 19.21 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) with a net volume of 17.65 million shares. Finally, shares of forklift rental business PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL) were purchased, resulting in a net volume of 13.36 million shares. (KD)
