Winfly increases stake in Bank MNC International (BABP) by 256 million shares
JAKARTA - On Wednesday, November 13, Winfly Ltd., a foreign investor, increased its stake in PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP), a banking company owned by the MNC Group. This investor previously owned 10% of the shares; however, after purchasing 256.35 million shares through PT MNC Sekuritas, its share portion increased to 10.59%. PT MNC Sekuritas, still a member of the MNC Group, acquired 34.56 million shares of PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), an issuer in the resort and hotel development and management sector, holding a 14.82% ownership stake.
PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala once again raised its stake in PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), its subsidiary that provides financial services, by 5.80 million shares. Then, PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk acquired 4.21 million shares in PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), an energy service solution firm in the upstream oil and gas services industry. Furthermore, cement manufacturer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) has continued to increase its own stockpile, buying 828,500 INTP shares through PT INA Sekuritas Indonesia this time.
However, PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama sold 43.34 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahetera (NSSS), a palm oil company. 350 thousand shares of PT Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk (CITA), an issuer involved in bauxite mining as well as the processing and refining of alumina, were also released by PT Harita Jayaraya.
Then, 3.22 million shares of PT Sumber Mas Konstruksi Tbk (SMKM), a general contractor and interior design firm, were sold by the foreign company Phillip Securities Pte Ltd, leaving 12.52% of the shares remaining. Lastly, Gochean Holdings Incorporated and Salween Investment Pte Ltd are still selling shares of PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG), a company that produces palm oil and rubber, with a total of 2.5 million shares each. These two investors' most recent shareholding was 5.21% for Gochean and 7.19% for Salween. (KD)
