Pelita Sukses Sejati acquired 6.25% of Sumber Tani Agung (STAA) stock
JAKARTA - On Monday, November 18, PT Pelita Sukses Sejati purchased 6.25% of the shares in PT Sumber Tani Agung Resources Tbk (STAA), a palm oil company. Nearly 682 million shares of STAA were acquired by this new investor via PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk.
Additionally, Sugiman Halim increased his ownership stake to 10.51% of PT Newport Marine Services Tbk (BOAT) by acquiring 154.51 million shares through PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas. BOAT shares themselves are involved in the oil and gas industry's ship rental business. Then, through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, Sendra Gunawan purchased 12 million shares, making a total of 12.3% of the insurance business PT Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama (AHAP). PT Pangan Sejahtera Investama also purchased 988,500 shares in PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk (AISA), one of the top producers of consumer foods, after PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala had purchased 9.71 million shares of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA).
By releasing about 48.68 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera (NSSS) through PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama executed the highest share reduction this time. INV Management Pte Ltd, a foreign investor, also dumped up to 7.87 million shares of cyber security company PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR), while Fidelity Funds sold 114,600 shares of PT Fast Food Indonesia (FAST), the sole Indonesian franchise of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
Finally, two investors in PT Perma Plasindo Tbk, Ruhong Holding Pte Ltd and PT Intan Pariwara, reported a further decline in their share percentage, but this was not accompanied by a change in the total number of shares they owned. With 1.94 billion shares, Ruhong Holding currently owns 87.64% of the company, while Intan Pariwara owns 174 million shares, or 7.82%.
