Sinar Mas Multiartha purchased 5.9 billion Bank Sinarmas shares
JAKARTA - More than 5.91 billion shares of PT Bank Sinarmas Tbk (BSIM) were added to the investor's portfolio of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk on Thursday, November 21. Prior to the recent acquisition through PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, this investor had almost 30% of BSIM's shares; nevertheless, the investor now owns nearly 60% of the company, making them the controlling shareholder. Besides that, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala purchased an extra 3.67 million shares of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA).
Ferry Saputra further expanded his collection by 17.65 million shares of PT Dewi Shri Farmindo Tbk (DEWI), of which 6% is the final share portion. The DEWI shares itself are involved in the production of broiler chickens. Additionally, Yulisar Khiat acquired 7.09 million shares of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), the operator of Hermina Hospital, and Low Tuck Kwong purchased 55,100 shares of PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), a mining and coal contractor.
Meanwhile, PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama released nearly 80 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), marking the greatest stake decrease this year. After that, PT Shima Global Kapital sold 11.90 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), an issuer involved in oil and gas exploration and trading. Six Sis Ltd, a foreign investor, then sold 672,500 shares of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), a company involved in coal mining contractor services.
Furthermore, two private investors in PT Paperocks Indonesia Tbk (PPRI), a company that sells paper packaging, decided to sell 15 million shares, respectively. Dillon Sutandar has a 24.65% stake, while Catur Jatiwaluyo has a 17.21% final ownership. Both deals were facilitated by PT Indo Capital Sekuritas. (KD)
