JAKARTA - PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG) welcomed two significant new investors on Thursday, December 12. PT Daya Adicipta Mustika became the first after purchasing 1.17 billion shares of TAPG, or about 6% of the palm oil and rubber company.

T. Permadi Rachmat, an individual investor, then purchased 1.03 billion TAPG shares, giving him an instant 5.19% stake in the company. The two new investors purchased stock through PT Bahana Sekuritas.

Furthermore, 950.94 million TAPG shares were added to PT Persada Capital Investama's holdings. This investor was able to raise its ownership of shares from 28.28% to 33.07%. Last but not least, PT Triputra Investindo Arya raised its stake percentage to 24.03% by purchasing an extra 117.98 million TAPG shares.

Then, using PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM), Garibaldi Thohir purchased 333.75 million shares of PT Provident Investasi Bersama Tbk (PALM). The investor, who is typically referred to as Boy Thohir, currently owns 17.48% of the company's shares in the agricultural food product and primary consumer goods sectors.

In the meantime, PT Saratoga Sentra Business actually sold PALM shares in the same volume, causing the investor to register a share drop from 9% to 6.85%.

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), a coal mining holding company, had 133.79 million shares released by HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self. PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), a multimedia and television company, then sold 98 million of its own shares.

Around 35.13 million shares of PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR), a business that offers cybersecurity services to a range of industries, were then sold by foreign investor INV Management Pte Ltd. Finally, 28.85 million shares of PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA), an issuer that develops residential and commercial areas, were sold by PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE). (KD)
