Leasing vessel, CBRE potentially scores IDR 264.62 billion
JAKARTA - PT Cakra Buana Resources Energi Tbk (CBRE) will lease a unit of Bulk Carrier Supramax of 57,000 DWT to PT Sys Petrolindo Utama (SPU) with potential revenue of IDR 264.62 billion within the next 5 years.
The price for this vessel charter is set to IDR 145 million per day for the next 5 days, not including VAT of 11%.
Amanda Octania, Director of CBRE, confirmed that the leasing contract of Bulk Carrier Supramax of 57,000 DWT under a time-charter system with SPI, for the vessel of MC Majestic Laksono, had been signed yesterday (16/12).
“It will grant us extra revenue and reinforce financial condition,” Octania said, as quoted Wednesday (18/12).
With contract value of IDR 145 million per day, the company might collect potential revenue of IDR 52.92 billion by 2025. For the record, the contract between CBRE and PSU is not an affiliated transaction.
As of now, CBRE operates 9 units of vessels with joint time-charter system, one unit of MV Majestic Laksono with time-charter and profit-sharing system, as well as 4 units of vessels with joint ship management system.
As of Q3 2024, time charter brought in revenue of IDR 25.18 billion to CBRE, followed by freight charter of IDR 1.5 billion and ship management of IDR 15.28 billion. (LK/ZH)
