JAKARTA - Boy Thohir made a further investment of 373.75 million shares in PT Provident Investasi Bersama Tbk (PALM) on Monday, December 16. The investor’s share portion grew from 17.5% to nearly 20%. He purchased the shares in the agricultural food product business and the main consumer goods investment company through PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk. 

Additionally, PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA), the franchise holder of the Pizza Hut restaurant chain in Indonesia, welcomed DBS Bank Ltd S/A Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund as a new investor. This investor purchased 190 million PZZA shares, or 6.29% ownership, through PT Bank DBS Indonesia.

Sugiman Layanto then acquired nearly 2.8 million shares of PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (WINS), a business that offers auxiliary transportation services to the oil and gas sector. Lo Kheng Hong subsequently increased his holdings to include 358,400 shares of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL), the biggest tire manufacturer in Indonesia.

Then, CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd acquired 116.95 million shares in PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), an energy infrastructure business. However, this investor also sold off 4.97 million shares in PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI), a firm that explores and mines gold.

On the other hand, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self released 64.70 million shares of coal mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), marking the largest share sale this time.

After then, individual investor Jon Fieris sold 50 million shares of PT Hotel Fitra International Tbk (FITT), which runs the Fitra Hotel in Majalengka, West Java. Ferry Saputra also sold 13.84 million shares of the broiler chicken farming company PT Dewi Shri Farmindo Tbk (DEWI).

Lastly, through PT Surya Fajar Sekuritas, Fintech Business Innovation LPS sold 900,000 shares of PT Venteny Fortuna International Tbk (VTNY), a firm that operates digital platforms and portals. (KD)
