Optimizing laboratory services, MTMH now controls 80% of GGI
JAKARTA – PT Murni Sadar Tbk (MTMH), the operator of Murni Teguh Hospitals, has acquired 80% of the shares of PT Global Genetika Indonesia (GGI) for IDR 3.56 billion to enhance its medical laboratory services.
For the record, health examination segment did contribute 23% to the total revenue of IDR 807.29 billion in the third quarter (Q3) of 2024.
Armen Chandra, Corporate Secretary of Murni Teguh Hospitals, confirmed that the company acquired 16,000 shares of GGI, which operates in the clinical laboratory sector. The acquisition includes all shares, assets under GGI’s name, and all receivables incurred after the acquisition, which was completed earlier this week (16/12).
MTMH reportedly purchased 16,000 shares of GGI from previous shareholders, including Simon, Steven Tirtawidjaja, Daniel Wijono, PT Cai Se, PT Penta Halim Utama, PT Eagle Mitra Kencana, and PT Fulushou Kreasi Indonesia.
Currently, MTMH operates several hospitals located in Jakarta, Pematang Siantar, Medan, Ciledug, and Bali. In Q3 2024, the company’s revenue was IDR 807.29 billion, with the highest contribution coming from the pharmacy segment, generating IDR 219.54 billion or 27.19% of the total revenue. (LK/ZH)
