Karya Media Investindo claims 8% of MDTV Media (NETV) with its 3.30 billion shares
JAKARTA – PT Karya Media Investindo, which invested 3.30 billion shares in the broadcasting media firm PT MDTV Media Technologies Tbk (NETV), started the stock buying and selling transaction by investors holding more than 5% on Friday, December 27. This investor is now formally a new shareholder with 8% ownership through PT BNI Sekuritas.
Subsequently, Sabana Prawira Widjaja added 2.35 billion shares to his stake in PT Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk (CAMP), a company that produces ice cream. He had previously owned 43.94% of CAMP shares, but after making this most recent acquisition through PT Shinhan Sekuritas Indonesia, his holding has increased to 83.94%.
PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) was also approached by a new investor. In order to formally control 5.16% of the shares, PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia purchased 511.18 million shares in this film firm.
Additionally, PT Provident Capital Indonesia's acquisition of 346.49 million shares of PT Provident Investasi Bersama Tbk (PALM) raised this investor's ownership stake from 55% to 57.87%. The shares of PALM are actively involved in the investing of agricultural products.
Henoch Weylim executed the last share acquisition, adding 18.47 million shares of PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE), a business that provides securities brokerage services, to his portfolios.
On the other hand, PT HP Capital Resources released 703.11 million shares of PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL), a firm involved in the textile and garment manufacturing industry, making it the largest share sale by investors holding more than 5% of the shares. The investor’s shares fell from 14.86% to just 5.16% as a result of the sale through PT Henan Putihrai Sekuritas.
After that, PT Manning Development sold 121.36 million shares of PT Indonesia Prima Property Tbk (OMRE), leaving 34.43% of the company's shares.
Additionally, two foreign investors were observed selling shares: CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd sold 2.39 million shares of PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI), a company involved in gold exploration and mining, and HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self sold 3 million shares of coal mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI).
Ko Joo Hee, an individual investor who sold 2.25 million shares of PT Samcro Hyosung Adilestari Tbk (ACRO) through PT Kiwoom Sekuritas Indonesia, then closed this market hints. The issuer itself produces webbing tape, adhesive hook tape, and hook and loop adhesive items. (KD)
