JAKARTA – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) experienced a correction during the opening of the first trading session, reaching 7,063.53 points by 09.46 AM WIB on Monday (13/1).

As of this morning, IHSG was at 7,063.53 points as of 09.40 AM WIB, having opened lower than last week's close at 7,078.24 points.

Several large-cap stocks also saw corrections during the morning session. Among the affected stocks were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI).

Additionally, coal stocks showed weakness in this morning's opening trade. Notable companies affected included PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), and PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI). (LK/ZH)
