468 million Impack Pratama (IMPC) shares acquired by Harimas Tunggal Perkasa
JAKARTA – Following the completion of the purchase of the shares of PT Impack Pratama Tbk (IMPC) through PT Verdhana Sekuritas Indonesia, Harimas Tunggal Perkasa's share percentage grew to 19.73% on Thursday, January 9. The investor now owns 10.70 billion shares in this manufacturer of plastic building materials after acquiring an additional 468.75 million shares. This transaction initiated a sequence of share transactions involving holders of 5% or more shares.
Additionally, John Herry Teja became the new owner of 5.75% of the shares in PT Menn Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (MENN), a company that provides fleet management solutions. Through PT Erdikha Elit Sekuritas and PT Indo Premier Sekuritas, he purchased 82.51 million MENN shares.
Another private investor, Yulisar Khiat, subsequently purchased 1.90 million shares of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), the operator of Hermina Hospital. Meanwhile, another individual investor, Satrijanto Tirtawisata next added 300,000 shares of investment in PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk (PANR), a provider of tourism services.
DBS Bank Ltd S/A Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund, a foreign investor, subsequently purchased an additional 4.11 million shares of PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA). This issuer is the owner of the Pizza Hut franchise in Indonesia. In the meantime, foreign investors dominated the biggest share sales this time.
Then, via PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self sold 7.18 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), a renowned company in the coal mining business.
Morgan Stanley and Co International Plc then reportedly sold 7,000 shares of PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM), while Fidelity Funds sold 389,900 shares of PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST). For the record, in Indonesia, FAST is the exclusive franchise holders for Taco Bell and KFC, whilst FILM is a production firm and film studio.
The biggest share reduction was conducted by PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia, releasing 10.69 million shares of PT Dosni Roha Indonesia Tbk (ZBRA), a provider of supply chain solutions.
Lastly, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala now holds 52.35% of the shares in financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) after reducing its ownership by 889 thousand shares. (KD/ZH)
