Multipolar sells 37.50 million shares of Multipolar Technology (MLPT)
JAKARTA – Multipolar reportedly divested 37.50 million shares of PT Multipolar Technology Tbk (MLPT). Once this transaction was completed through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, the controller saw a drop in shares from about 87% to 85% on Friday, January 10.
PT Multipolar Technology Tbk (MLPT) offers information technology services and solutions. With this transaction, the list of transactions of the shareholders with 5% or more ownership began.
Additionally, PT Sarana Kelola Investa sold 300,700 shares of PT Meratus Jasa Prima Tbk (KARW), an issuer involved in the container terminal services and water logistics sector, after PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk (PANS) sold approximately 453 thousand shares of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), an energy service solution company.
Shares appeared to be released by foreign investors as well. By 4.28 million shares, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self decreased its stake in mining holding firm PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI). Additionally, Morgan Stanley And Co International Plc sold 5,200 shares in the film production company PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM). No notable ownership changes were noted by the two investors.
However, this time around, the biggest share increase was made by Manoj Pitamber Nanwani, an individual investor who purchased 2.3 million shares of PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (WINS), a transportation service company that supports the oil and gas sector.
John Herry Teja, the latest investor in PT Menn Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (MENN), additionally bought 989,100 more shares in this provider of fleet management solutions. His stake rose marginally to 5.82%.
Additionally, two different controllers seemed to solidify their positions in two distinct issuers. In the financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala purchased an additional 2.21 million shares with a 52.38% stake, while PT Griyainsani Cakrasadaya acquired 240,600 shares, with a 63.88% stake, in PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA), the operator of the Mitra Keluarga Hospital network.
