JAKARTA – Jeffrey Limas Lim's acquisition of 212.81 million shares of PT Janu Putra Sejahtera Tbk (AYAM) marked the start of market hints on Tuesday, January 14.

This private investor formally acquired 5.32% of the poultry farming company's shares through PT NH Korindo Sekuritas Indonesia and PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas.

Additionally, DBS Bank Ltd S/A Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund, a foreign investor, kept increasing its stake in PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA), the Pizza Hut franchisee in Indonesia. With a final ownership of 8.6%, the investor purchased 6.36 million shares this time.

Additionally, two private investors strengthened their stock holdings. Manoj Pitamber Nanwani purchased 1.58 million shares of PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (WINS), a company that supports the oil and gas sector by offering transportation services. Furthermore, Darmawan Suryadi SM acquired 237,900 shares in the multimodal transportation business PT Armada Berjaya Trans Tbk (JAYA).

PT Griyainsani Cakrasadaya was the next investor with a minimum ownership of 5% to purchase shares. This investor acquired 190,300 more shares of PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA), giving it a 63.9% stake in the hospital operator.

However, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self was the investor who sold the most shares. More than 65.16 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), a coal mining holding firm, were released by this foreign investor.

Equatorex Sdn Bhd, the controller of port and terminal service provider PT Tanah Laut Tbk (INDX), sold one million shares, while Phillip Securities Pte Ltd sold 748,200 shares of general contractor PT Sumber Mas Konstruksi Tbk (SMKM).

PT Elsiscom Prima Karya recorded the next share sale, releasing 7.5 million shares of PT Galva Technologies Tbk (GLVA), a technology and digital corporation, through PT Buana Capital Sekuritas.

PT Fersindo Nusa Jaya ultimately sold 4.2 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), keeping 5.13% of the remaining shares. (KD)
