Media Retail Indonesia becomes a new investor of 5.85% of Era Media (DOOH) shares
JAKARTA – On Thursday, January 16, PT Media Retail Indonesia officially became a new investor in the advertising company PT Era Media Sejahtera Tbk (DOOH), marking the beginning of the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
This investor instantly obtained 5.85% ownership by buying 452.26 million DOOH through PT Yuanta Sekuritas Indonesia and PT Jasa Utama Capital Sekuritas.
Additionally, PT Communication Cable System Indonesia Tbk (CCSI), a maker of fiber optic cables, also welcomed a new investor. Central Business Alliance Pte Ltd acquired 118.93 million CCSI shares through PT BCA Sekuritas, resulting in 9.02% ownership of the shares.
Then, DBS Bank Ltd S/A Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund added 5 million shares to its holdings in PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA). Their ownership stake in the Pizza Hut franchise grew by nearly 2% to 8.77%.
Additionally, individual investor Jeffrey Limas Lim kept purchasing stock in the poultry farming company PT Janu Putra Sejahtera Tbk. (AYAM). 12.64 million shares were added, increasing his share percentage to 5.64%.
Then, through PT Shinhan Sekuritas Indonesia, Sabana Prawira Widjaja, the beverage manufacturer's controlling investor, added 950 thousand shares of PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ). He now owned 49.79% of the company.
Meanwhile, by releasing 68.26 million shares of the palm oil company PT Pradiksi Gunatama Tbk (PGUN) through PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Baramega Citra Mulia Persada executed the biggest share reduction this time.
PT Elsiscom Prima Karya also cut its stake in PT Galva Technologies Tbk (GLVA), a regional partner firm for technology and digital products, by 23 million shares.
It seems that foreign investors were also selling off their shares. This time, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self was selling 42.68 million shares of PT Bumi Resources TBk (BUMI), the mining holding company. The percentage of remaining shares was 10.48%.
Then, CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd released 3.35 million shares of gold miner PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI). Lastly, 886,700 shares of PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk (CARE), a business involved in the health and hospital services industry, were released by Bank Julius Baer And Co Ltd, Singapore. (KD)
