JAKARTA - PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) objects the petition of Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) filed by PT Harmas Jalesveva last week (10/1).

In the disclosure of BUKA quoted Monday (20/1), Cut Fika Lutfi, Corporate Secretary of BUKA, mentioned that PKPU filing is incorrect, as it is based on a purely civil dispute, which falls under the jurisdiction of South Jakarta District Court and general civil procedural law instead of Central Jakarta Commercial Court, where PKPU petition was submitted.

In addition, BUKA also believes that the company is not qualified as debtor with overdue debts that are due for collection, based on a civil dispute that is still under Judicial Review.

According to Lutfi, the company remains optimistic that the legal process will proceed fairly and objectively, in accordance with applicable regulations. The company will prepare several further legal actions to settle the issue professionally.

It is known that Harmas has submitted PKPU petition under Case No. 2/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2025/PN Niaga Jkt Pst and claimed that BUKA still has outstanding debts, according to the Cassation Ruling No. 2461 K/PDT/2024. (LK/ZH)
