TPIA taps funds to repay maturing bonds

JAKARTA – PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) is tapping its funds to repay the 2020 Bonds that will mature on February 12, 2025.
Suyandi, Director of TPIA, expressed the company’s readiness to settle the Shelf-Registration Bonds II Phase III 2020, amounting to IDR 750 billion. "The principal bond payment along with the final coupon will be deposited to PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia in accordance with applicable regulations," he said, quoted on Tuesday (21/1).
As of September 2024, the company recorded cash and cash equivalents of USD 1.20 billion, down from USD 1.43 billion in the same period last year. Equity stood at USD 2.90 billion, fluctuating from USD 2.99 billion.
Meanwhile, long-term and short-term bond liabilities amounted to USD 605.53 million and USD 107.97 million, respectively. (LK/ZH)
