JAKARTA - Andreas Utomo, the ultimate beneficial owner of the shares of PT Aman Agrindo Tbk (GULA), has divested 6.87 million shares of said company in a transaction, Monday (20/1). Utomo is also known as president director of this issuer.

Mega Indah Cahyani, Corporate Secretary of GULA, mentioned that transaction is carried out for investment purposes. After this transaction, Utomo’s shares will be lowered to 187.18 million from 194.05 million shares.

The price was set to IDR 355.43 per share, meaning that the transaction totalled IDR 2.44 billion.

Prior to this, Utomo only claimed 18.13% of GULA’s shares. After this transaction, his stake is down to 17.49% of total 1.70 billion shares. GULA’s shareholders consist of 18.3% of controlling party, and 81.97%, non-controllers. (LK/ZH)
