WIKA secured new contracts worth IDR 20.66 trillion at the end of 2024
JAKARTA – PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) successfully secured new contracts valued at IDR 20.66 trillion by December 2024, marking an increase from the IDR 19.96 trillion achieved in November 2024.
The majority of WIKA's new contracts came from the infrastructure and building segment, contributing 42% of the total contract value. The industrial construction support sector contributed 32%, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) accounted for 20%, and the property sector contributed 6%.
Currently, WIKA is handling 75 construction projects across various regions in Indonesia. Among these, 42 projects are part of the National Strategic Projects (PSN), and 8 projects are located in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) area.
Some of the national strategic projects secured in December 2024 include the construction of the Tiga Dihaji Dam Package VI valued at IDR 544 billion and the continued work on the Jragung Dam worth IDR 187 billion.
"All of these projects use a monthly payment scheme with upfront payments, allowing the company to operate independently while focusing on more efficient cash management," said Agung Budi Waskito, President Director of WIKA, in a statement on Wednesday (22/1).
Agung also noted that this achievement boosts WIKA's optimism about continuing to contribute to the government's grand vision through the Asta Cita program.
"WIKA plays a strategic role as an Agent of Development, especially in supporting Indonesia's self-sufficiency in the economy, food, and energy sectors," he explained.
Through these national strategic projects, WIKA remains committed to making a tangible impact on improving the quality of life for the people of Indonesia. (DK/ZH)
