JAKARTA – PT Buyung Poetra Sembada Tbk (HOKI), the producer of Topi Koki and Dailymeal rice brands, is strengthening its business line by actively promoting alternatives to white rice, such as corn, cassava, and brown rice under the Dailymeal brand.

“We are optimistic that product innovation and distribution strategy can position Dailymeal as a pioneer of healthy rice in Indonesia,” said Budiman Susilo, Director of HOKI, in an official statement on Wednesday (22/1).

This product is designed to support a healthy lifestyle, particularly for individuals with diabetes and those seeking low glycaemic index rice.

In addition to these product innovations, HOKI is also preparing for distribution expansion. As reported by idnfinancials.com earlier, HOKI has partnered with Indomarco and PT Gurih Mitra Perkasa to expand distribution to modern markets, minimarkets, and food service providers. The partnership with GMP is projected to reach a transaction value of IDR 130 billion over the course of one year.

Alongside distribution, HOKI continues to innovate. After the successful launch of Hokairi Japonica Rice in 2024, HOKI is now preparing to introduce Porang Cassava Rice, offering high-quality rice options at affordable prices.

As of the third quarter of 2024, HOKI recorded sales growth of IDR 1.1 trillion, an increase of 19.9% year-on-year compared to IDR 888 billion in the previous year. (DK/ZH)
