JAKARTA – On Thursday, January 30, the stock market reopened following a long weekend holiday. The Indonesia Stock Exchange's foreign stock buying and selling transactions ended with a net sell of 189.40 million shares after foreign buyers purchased 3.36 billion shares and sellers sold about 3.55 billion.

With a net sell of over 500 million shares, digital service provider PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) held the top spot on the top sell list. Only 1.28 billion GOTO shares were purchased by foreign stockholders, who sold 1.78 billion.

After foreigners released 103.07 million shares of this private bank, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) proceeded with a net sell of 42.10 million shares.

Next, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) recorded a net sell of 31.28 million shares, while national bank PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) recorded 27.83 million shares.

Only about 4 million ANTM shares were purchased by foreigners, who sold 35.19 million shares. Then, a total of 148.52 million BBRI shares were sold, while almost 120 million shares were bought.

With a net sell of 17.90 million shares and a foreign sales volume of 38.10 million shares, hospital manager PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) subsequently closed this list.

On the net buy list, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), an energy infrastructure company, was ranked top. This issuer reported a net buy of 212.45 million shares with a buying volume of 225.89 million shares.

The oil and gas tanker business PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) then reported a net buy of 79.09 million shares. Only 1.26 million of its shares were bought, while almost 80 million were sold by foreigners.

PT Era Media Sejahtera Tbk (DOOH), an advertising service provider, then registered a net buy of 68.08 million shares, followed by 64.27 million shares from PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS).

Nearly 130 million DOOH shares and almost 168 million BRMS shares were purchased by foreign investors.

Last but not least, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) acquired over 52 million shares, making it the final issuer on our list. Approximately 10.24 million shares of this e-commerce firm were sold, while 62.20 million shares were bought by foreigners. (KD)
