MAPI raises IDR 79 billion from treasury stock sale
JAKARTA – Retail issuer PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) has sold its remaining shares from a buyback through a block sale mechanism, raising IDR 79 billion from the treasury stock sale.
Eva Andrianine, Corporate Secretary of MAPI, disclosed in an information release on Thursday (6/2) that 60,386,600 treasury shares were sold to PT Golden Asia Heritage, an entity based in Bekasi, West Java. The shares sold represent 0.36% of MAPI’s total shares.
The transaction took place on February 3, 2025, with BRI Danareksa Sekuritas serving as the intermediary for the trade.
Between January 17 and 31, 2019, MAPI had previously sold 2.69 million treasury shares, leaving 60,386,600 shares, which were eventually sold in this latest transaction.
The shares were sold at IDR 1,310 per share. Including the IDR 2.59 billion proceeds from the 2019 sale, MAPI has accumulated a total of IDR 81.7 billion from its treasury stock sales. (DK/KR/ZH)
