Erwin Ciputra raises stake in PTRO for IDR 1.97 billion

JAKARTA – Erwin Ciputra has added 500,000 shares to his holdings in PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) through a stock purchase transaction yesterday (4/2). He is a member of Board of Commissioners of PTRO and also serves as PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA).
Anto Broto, Corporate Secretary of PTRO, clarified that Erwin Ciputra’s share purchase was not part of a repurchase agreement. “The shares are held directly with the purpose of investment,” he said on Friday (7/2).
Following the transaction, Erwin’s shareholding increased to 7.85 million shares from the previous 7.35 million, representing 0.0779% of the company's outstanding shares, up from 0.0729%. With the purchase price of IDR 3,950 per share, the transaction value reached IDR 1.97 billion.
As of January 2025, PTRO has 10.08 billion outstanding shares. The shareholder composition includes controlling shareholders (41.519%) and non-controlling shareholders (58.481%). PTRO’s free float stands at 27.25%, with a total of 49,796 shareholders. The ultimate beneficial owner of PTRO is Prajogo Pangestu. (LK/ZH)
