Continue to hoard BIPI shares, CGS International now controls 17.6%

JAKARTA - CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd, which is still expanding its holdings of BIPI shares, is highlighted in the list of share ownership movements exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange as of Wednesday, February 5.
With a 17.6% increase in shares, this investor purchased an additional 102.30 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI). The investor accumulated 11.21 billion shares in this energy infrastructure issuer.
Additionally, through PT Bank DBS Indonesia, DBS Bank Ltd S/A Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund purchased 270 million shares of PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA), an Indonesian Pizza Hut franchisee. Currently, 8.97% of the shares are owned by this foreign investor.
Then, PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG added 44.70 million shares to its holdings in PT PP Properti Tbk (PPRO), a real estate business. Its shares were rounded up to 9.05% with this most recent acquisition. A further 652,300 shares in hospital operator PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA) were then acquired by the controller of PT Griyainsani Cakrasadaya, bringing the total ownership to 64.01%.
By buying 650 thousand shares of tire producer PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL) through PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, Lo Kheng Hong made the final share addition.
However, Hapsoro used PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk to give away 27.5 million shares of PT Sanurhasta Mitra Tbk (MINA). The stake of this individual investor dropped from 5.61% to 5.19%.
Following the sale of 26 million shares of PT Duta Anggada Realty Tbk (DART) by another private investor, Hartadi Angkosubroto, through PT FAC Sekuritas Indonesia, the controlling share percentage fell to 46.68%.
Additionally, PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia sold about 27.48 million shares of PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM), resulting in a modest decrease in its stake to 5.35%.
The shares of PT Steady Safe Tbk (SAFE) were released next. Through PT Danatama Makmur Sekuritas, PT Infiniti Wahana sold 7.3 million shares of this public transportation firm. Only about 41.14% of the shares are now owned by this controller.
Lastly, more than 6.83 million shares of mining holding firm PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were sold by foreign investor HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self, with a share portion of 10.42%. (KD)
