JAKARTA – PT Brigit Biofarmaka Teknologi Tbk (OBAT) will inaugurate its new factory located in Sukoharjo, Central Java, in mid-February 2025.

This new facility, which will focus on producing herbal supplements and liquid medicines in various packaging forms, gives the company the confidence to target revenue growth up to three times higher than the previous year.

Is Heriyanto, President Director of OBAT, revealed that the new factory would significantly contribute to the company’s sales. "It could add up to IDR 250 billion in annual turnover," he stated in an official release on Monday (10 February).

For reference, OBAT projects its 2024 operating revenue to increase by more than 100% compared to the 2023 achievement of IDR 53 billion.

It should be noted that the construction of OBAT’s latest factory no longer uses funds from its initial public offering (IPO), as the IPO funds have already been allocated for the company's working capital needs. (DK/ZH)
