JAKARTA – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) or Telkom confirms the status of Isa Rachmatarwata as the suspect of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) corruption by Attorney General’s Office.

It was conveyed by Octavius Oky Prakarsa, VP Investor Relation of Telkom, in his statement, quoted Monday (10/2). Rachmatarwata’s status as a suspect, added Prakarsa, is related to his position as Head of Insurance Bureau at Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (Bapepan-LK) from 2006 to 2012.

“It has nothing linked to his position as Commissioner of Telkom,” he clairified.

Prakarsa further mentioned that the supervisory function carried out by the Board of Commissioners of Telkom may continue as usual and will not be affected by the case.

According to IDNFinancials data, Rachmatarwata has taken position as Commissioner of Telkom since General Meeting of Shareholders on May 28, 2021. (EF/ZH/KR)
