JAKARTA – PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) now controls 62.21% of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) after purchasing 34.44 million shares in a transaction that took place on Monday (10/2).

Titi Maria Rusli, Corporate Secretary of EMTK, stated that the transaction was carried out for investment purposes.

In Monday’s transaction, EMTK bought SCMA shares at an average price of IDR 203 per share, which is lower than SCMA’s closing price of IDR 206 per share that day.

Previously, EMTK had purchased 7.16 million SCMA shares on 5 February 2025 and 56.07 million shares on 7 February 2025. The purchases in these transactions were made at an average price of IDR 186 and IDR 193 per share, respectively.

Thus, EMTK has acquired a total of 102.68 million SCMA shares between 5-10 February 2025.

In today’s first trading session, SCMA shares rose by 4.85% or 10 points to IDR 216 per share. Since the beginning of the year, SCMA shares have increased by 29.34% or 49 points. (KR/ZH)
