JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani explained the details of the 2025 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) target of reaching IDR 3,500 trillion. The main targets of the APBN are a number of sectors that support sustainable growth, equal distribution of prosperity and economic resilience.
"This budget is estimated to include tax revenues of IDR 2,198 trillion, customs duties of IDR 301 trillion, and non-tax revenues of IDR 512 trillion," she said at the Mandiri Investment Forum, Tuesday (11/2).
The four priority sectors in the 2025 APBN are education, health, food security and social protection. She stated that the education and health sectors would receive the largest allocation.
Then, one of the other superior programs that received a large allocation is the Free Nutritious Food (MBG) program, which will reach more than 350,000 schools and 90 million beneficiary children.
"Apart from that, the budget will also be directed at expanding social assistance, including the family hope program, basic food cards and other social protection programs to ensure that vulnerable groups remain protected," he added.
Sri Mulyani emphasized that the government will focus on the target of reducing the budget deficit to around 2.35% of GDP in 2025. (DK/LM)
