Divesting SQMI, WRH bagged IDR 15 billion

JAKARTA - Wilton Resources Holding Pte Ltd (WRH) has secured IDR 15 billion after divesting PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI) shares last week (6/2). Yesterday (13/2), the issuer’s price was closed at IDR 20, relatively stagnant from morning session’s closing.
Mohammad Noor Syahriel, Corporate Secretary of SQMI, mentioned that transaction is intended as sales and purchase agreement. “The shares ownership percentage post-transaction is 58,04%, up from 62.87%,” he added, quoted Friday (14/20.
The number of shares post-transaction grows to 9.01 billion, down 750 million from 9.01 billion shares. The transaction price was set to IDR 20 per share.
As of January 2025, total listed shares of this issuer is 15.53 billion, with controlling party owning 62.68%, and non-controllers, 37.14%. The percentage of free float stood at 18.51%, and total shareholders clocked up to 4,584, while the ultimate beneficial owner of the shares being Wijaya Lawrence dan WRH. (LK/ZH)
