SAFE controller sells 7.3 million shares to meet minimum free float

JAKARTA - PT Infiniti Wahana (IW) sold 1.19% of its shares in PT Steady Safe Tbk (SAFE) during a stock transaction last week (3/2). This sale enabled the company's free float shares to meet the minimum threshold of 7.5%.
Efris Indria, Corporate Secretary of SAFE, reported that IW sold 7.3 million shares at a price of IDR 228 per share. "The purpose of the transaction is to meet the free float requirement," he said, quoted on Friday (14/2).
Following the transaction, IW’s remaining shares in SAFE amounted to 260.72 million shares, equivalent to 42.38%. Previously, IW controlled 268.02 million shares, or 43.57% of the company.
Meanwhile, SAFE’s free float percentage increased to 8.13%, equivalent to 50.02 million shares. Prior to this, the company’s free float stood at 6.94%. It is known that the ultimate beneficiaries of SAFE's shares are IW and Jopie Widjaja. (LK/KR/ZH)
