Shares price surge, IDX suspends POLU

JAKARTA – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has suspended trading in PT Golden Flower Tbk (POLU) shares starting from the opening session on Thursday (20/2).
Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of Transaction Supervision Division at IDX, stated that there had been a significant cumulative increase in POLU’s share price. “IDX considers it necessary to temporarily halt share trading as a cooling-down measure,” he said, quoted on Thursday (20/2).
According to him, the suspension of POLU shares applies to both the regular and cash markets to provide investors time to assess available information and make informed investment decisions.
