Antam gold prices hit record high again

JAKARTA – The price of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) or Antam's gold bullion has continued to rise, setting a new all-time high (ATH) on Thursday, 20 February 2025.
Today, Antam gold prices surged by Rp17,000, reaching Rp1,708,000 per gram.
The rally had already begun on Wednesday (19/2) when Antam's gold price increased by Rp12,000 to reach Rp1,691,000 per gram. The previous record was set on 14 February 2025, with a price of Rp1,701,000 per gram.
Not only the selling price, but the buyback price—Antam's repurchase rate—also rose by Rp17,000, standing at Rp1,558,000 per gram.
As a comparison, the spot gold price touched US$2,920 per ounce at 3:30 PM today (21/2), cooling down from its peak of US$2,954 per ounce yesterday (20/2).
In terms of stock performance, as of the close of the first session today (21/2), ANTM shares fell by 2.97%, landing at Rp1,635 per share, down from the opening price of Rp1,685 per share. (DK/ZH)
