AALI’s 2024 net profit rises to IDR 1.14 trillion

JAKARTA – Palm oil producer PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), a subsidiary of Astra Group, recorded improved performance throughout 2024. Its net profit increased by 8.57% to IDR 1.14 trillion, compared to IDR 1.05 trillion in the same period in 2023, driven by revenue of IDR 21.81 trillion.
According to the Full Year (FY) 2024 Financial Report, AALI’s revenue grew by 5.16% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 21.81 trillion, up from IDR 20.74 trillion in the previous year.
Most of AALI’s revenue in 2024 came from its Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and derivative product line, contributing IDR 20.18 trillion. Revenue from palm kernel (PK) and its derivatives also contributed IDR 1.62 trillion, followed by other revenues of IDR 11.36 billion.
The Sulawesi region was the largest contributor to AALI's revenue in 2024, with IDR 10.75 trillion, followed by Kalimantan with IDR 10.48 trillion, and Sumatra with IDR 9.97 trillion.
Meanwhile, AALI’s total assets decreased by 0.17% yoy, from IDR 28.84 trillion to IDR 28.79 trillion in 2024. On the other hand, total liabilities fell by 10.99% yoy to IDR 5.59 trillion, compared to IDR 6.28 trillion the previous year.
However, AALI's total equity increased by 2.84% yoy to IDR 23.20 trillion in 2024, up from IDR 22.56 trillion in the prior year. (DK/KR/ZH)
