BRAU’s chairman, Police Commissioner General, resigns

JAKARTA – Shareholders of PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk (BRAU) approved the resignation of Condro Kirono, the President Commissioner (Chairman) of BRAU, yesterday (19/2).
In the minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) released on Friday (21/2), Condro Kirono’s resignation was approved by shareholders representing 28.74 billion shares or 82.36% of the company’s total shares.
For his replacement, the shareholders appointed Edy Santoso as the new Chairman, with Yoyok Nurprasetiyo Hadi Pramono as an Independent Commissioner.
Condro Kirono has had a long career in the Indonesian National Police. He previously held positions such as Central Java Regional Police Chief, Head of the Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam), and Senior Policy Analyst at Baharkam Polri in 2019.
A graduate of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Academy for Police (AKABRI Police or Akpol) class of 1984, he attained a three-star rank (Commissioner General/Komjen) before retiring from the Indonesian National Police in 2019.
After retirement, he served as a commissioner in various state-owned enterprises (SOEs), including PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). (LK/ZH)

Sebagai gantinya, pemegang saham mendapuk Edy Santoso, sebagai Komut dan Yoyok Nurprasetiyo Hadi Pramono sebagai Komisaris Independen. Usai pensiun, sosoknya memangku jabatan komisaris pada Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) antara lain, PT Pertamina (Persero) dan PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). (LK) |
