See Puan Maharani’s spouse moves in MINA, what’s the goal?

JAKARTA – Businessman Hapsoro Sukmonohadi, known as Happy Hapsoro, the husband of Indonesian Parliament Speaker Puan Maharani, has increased his stake in PT Sanurhasta Mitra Tbk (MINA).
On February 10, 2025, Hapsoro acquired 837,406 shares of MINA at a price of IDR 25 per share, bringing his direct shareholding to 5.03%.
This transaction was tied to a mandatory tender offer for MINA after Hapsoro became the controlling shareholder. Previously, on November 20, 2024, he purchased 243.75 million shares at IDR 23 per share, raising his stake to 5.73%.
This significant acquisition, valued at IDR 5.85 billion, was for investment purposes. “And to provide added value for the new controller,” MINA’s management stated in a stock exchange filing last November.
However, between late January and late February, Hapsoro sold 0.715% of his shares, reducing his direct ownership to 5.02%.
As of February 21, 2025, Hapsoro is recorded as holding 51.44% of MINA’s shares, equivalent to approximately 3.37 billion shares, both directly and indirectly.
His direct ownership stands at 5.72%, while his indirect ownership, through PT Basis Utama Prima, amounts to 45.71%. PT Basis Utama Prima is another of Hapsoro’s business entities, where he holds a 99% stake, according to IDNFinancials.com.
It should be noted that Hapsoro had initiated a mandatory tender offer for up to 2.82 billion MINA shares at a price of IDR 25 per share, from January 9 to February 7, 2025. Under this scheme, the total funds expended by Hapsoro for the mandatory tender offer amounted to IDR 70.63 billion. (DH/ZH)
