JAKARTA – On Monday, 24 February, foreign investor transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange once more showed a net sell. If there was a net sell of 347.86 million shares in foreign transactions on the previous trading day, the net sell today is 216.05 million.

When compared to the previous trading day (21 February), the volume of international buying and selling has actually reduced. 2.45 billion shares were purchased in total by foreign investors, often known as foreign buys. Today, foreign investors registered a net sell of 216.05 million shares, with a sales volume (foreign sell) of 2.67 billion shares.

At 51.69 million shares, the IDX reported the largest net sell of the day from PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA). About 56.64 million BUKA shares were purchased by foreign investors; however, they later sold around 108.34 million.

Foreigners then purchased 87.06 million and sold 134.28 million BRMS, resulting in a net sell of -47.21 million shares for mineral mining issuer PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS). Following the sale of over 33 million of its shares by foreigners, real estate developer PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk (BUVA) followed with a net sell of 31.43 million shares.

With a net sell of almost 30.2 million shares apiece, the coal and palm oil firm PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA) and a holding company involved in the metal ore mining sector, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), ended the top-sell list.

Over 46.63 million TOBA were sold, and 16.34 million were purchased by foreign investors. After purchasing over 8 million shares, they also sold 38.16 million MDKA.

However, with 57.22 million shares, PT Wir Asia Tbk (WIRG) shares emerged as the shares with the biggest net buy. This technological company's overseas sales volume was 240.18 million, but its buy volume totaled 297.40 million.

With a net buy of about 45 million and a foreign purchase volume of 118.02 million, fiber optic infrastructure provider PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) came in second.

Third place went to PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), whose net buy is 32.31 million shares. Nevertheless, at 377.20 million shares, GOTO's foreign purchase volume was the biggest today. The sales volume of GOTO was around 344.89 million.

With 28.52 million BULL and 26.57 million OASA, respectively, oil and gas tanker issuer PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) and renewable energy firm PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) closed the top buy list.

Foreigners purchased about 32 million OASA shares and released roughly 5.32 million, while they purchased 29.20 million BULL shares and released only about 679,800 shares. (KD)
