JAKARTA – PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk (BHIT) continues to strengthen its portfolio in the property sector by increasing its shareholding in PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG).

Through a series of transactions, BHIT has recently secured 15 million shares of KPIG.

According to data compiled by IDNFinancials.com, BHIT purchased KPIG shares at a price range of IDR 124 to IDR 144 per share. The total funds spent by BHIT for the accumulation of KPIG shares amounted to IDR 2.05 billion.

On February 7, 2025, BHIT acquired 5 million shares at a price of IDR 124 per share, with a transaction value of IDR 620 million. BHIT then spent IDR 720 million on February 24, 2025, to purchase another 5 million KPIG shares at IDR 144 per share.

Finally, the company owned by Hary Tanoe spent IDR 720 million on February 25, 2025, to buy 5 million KPIG shares at IDR 142 per share.

Following this accumulation, BHIT now holds 20.83 billion shares, equivalent to 21.35% of KPIG. Previously, BHIT held 20.82 billion shares, or 21.33%.

Santi Paramita, Director of BHIT, confirmed that this move aligns with the company’s strategy to strengthen its position in the property sector. “This transaction was carried out as part of efforts to increase shareholding in MNC Land,” Santi stated in a disclosure on Wednesday (26/2). (EF/KR/ZH/VA)
