JAKARTA – Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has placed three issuers under unusual market activity (UMA) monitoring, as of yesterday (25/2). The three issuers are PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS)PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI), and PT Menn Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (MENN).

Danny Yuskar Wibowo, Acting Head of the IDX Transaction Supervision Division, stated that there are indications of unusual trading patterns outside of the ordinary.

"UMA announcements do not necessarily indicate violations of capital market regulations," he said, as quoted from the disclosure, Wednesday (26/2).

Regarding the UMA status of these three issuers, the IDX advises investors to pay attention to the issuers' responses to IDX inquiries, monitor their performance and disclosures, review corporate actions not yet approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS), and carefully consider any potential developments before making investment decisions.

As of Wednesday (26/2) afternoon, SSMS shares had fallen by 0.82%, or IDR 15, to IDR 1,825 per share, though they had risen by 7.99%, or IDR 135, over the past month.

Meanwhile, BNLI shares dropped by 10.21%, or IDR 240, to IDR 2,110 per share, despite growing 61.69%, or IDR 805, in the past month.

Lastly, MENN shares declined by 9.09%, or IDR 5, to IDR 50 per share, while they had increased by 51.52%, or IDR 17, over the past month. (LK/ZH)
