JAKARTA – PT Idea Indonesia Akademi Tbk (IDEA) has obtained a loan facility worth IDR 23.14 billion from PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA).

Muhammad Rino Alpassa, Director of PT Idea Indonesia Akademi Tbk (IDEA), stated that the loan facility is intended to take over credit from PT Bank Ganesha Tbk (BGTG) and to increase the investment credit ceiling.

"The credit ceiling received from MEGA will be utilised by PT Aidia Indonesia Propertindo (AIP), a subsidiary of IDEA," he said in a public disclosure on Friday (28/2).

The facility consists of a Bank Account Loan with a ceiling of IDR 2.9 billion, Investment Credit I of IDR 9.5 billion, and Investment Credit II of IDR 10.74 billion.

He explained that the loan facility is secured by land and building assets, including 13 Right to Build Certificates (SHGB) under the name of AIP and 1 SHGB under the name of IDEA. Additionally, a corporate guarantee is provided as collateral.

He noted that the facility helps the company expand its business and optimise fixed assets to increase revenue.

As of June 2024, the company recorded debt from BGTG amounting to IDR 2.85 billion. (LK/ZH)
