JAKARTA – PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) invested USD 1.25 million into Global Asian Investments (GAI) Limited on Thursday (27/2).

Felix, Director of SMMA, stated that GAI is an investment company based in Hong Kong. "The capital injection is no more than 20% of the company’s equity," he said, as quoted on Friday (28/2).

As of the third quarter of 2024, SMMA recorded total equity of IDR 25.51 trillion, up from IDR 24.82 trillion in the same period in 2023. Total liabilities and equity amounted to IDR 116.14 trillion, up from IDR 113.96 trillion.

SMMA fully controls GAI, holding 99% ownership, with Indra Widjaja holding 1%. This investment company, established in 2012, has total assets of IDR 1.11 billion. (LK/ZH)
