JAKARTA – The controlling shareholder of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), Prajogo Pangestu, has once again increased his stake in the company.

Prajogo purchased 11 million shares of BRPT on February 28, 2025, at a price of IDR 790 per share. The total value of this transaction amounted to IDR 8.69 billion.

Following this purchase, Prajogo's shareholding in BRPT has increased to 66.90 billion shares, equivalent to 71.36%. Previously, he held 66.89 billion shares, or 71.35%.

"The purpose of this transaction is for investment," BRPT management stated in a disclosure on Wednesday (5/3).

Currently, public investors hold only 28.64% of BRPT’s total outstanding shares.

Over the last five trading days, BRPT’s share price has declined by 3.03%, from IDR 825 to IDR 805 per share. However, during the first trading session today (5/3), BRPT’s share price remained at IDR 800 per share as of 10.52 AM WIB. (DK/KR/ZH)
