JAKARTA – PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) reported progress on the strategic Southern Causeway Lot 2 project (Bululawang-Sidomulyo-Tambakrejo), which is being undertaken through a Joint Operation with PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) and PT Sarana Multi Usaha.

The road project spans 12.885 km, with a contract value of IDR 410.6 billion. Since its commencement on December 20, 2023, the project has reached 69.86% completion, significantly surpassing the initial plan of 31.55%.

The project is scheduled for completion on October 4, 2026 and is expected to enhance connectivity across southern Java.

Joko Raharjo, Corporate Secretary of PTPP, emphasized that the use of advanced technology and strong team collaboration has allowed for accelerated progress while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

"This project is a concrete contribution by PTPP to sustainable national infrastructure development," he stated in an official release on Thursday (6/3). (EF/ZH)
