What are EDGE's expansion plans for 2025?

JAKARTA - PT Indointernet Tbk (EDGE), a listed data centre provider, announced its expansion plan for 2025 with the main focus on data centre development.
The company will soon activate the second and third phases of its H2 data centre, which has a capacity of 23 megawatts (MW).
Indointernet Director, Donauly Elena Situmorang, explained that the expansion is part of the company's strategy to strengthen digital infrastructure in Indonesia.
According to her, data centres and connectivity are the two main business lines that drive EDGE's growth.
‘We will focus on activating phases two and three of the H2 data centre, but we also remain open to exploring other opportunities in the data centre and connectivity sectors,’ Ms Situmorang said in an official statement on Wednesday (5/3).
The expansion comes after EDGE recorded significant growth in data centre capacity in the past year.
With the additional capacity from the previously launched EDGE2, the company continues to expand its range of services to meet the growing demand for digital infrastructure in Indonesia.
Going forward, EDGE will continue to accelerate its expansion to compete more strongly in the national data centre industry.(DK/LM)
