PTPP: Bululawang-Tambakrejo road construction project reached 69%

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) is working on a strategic project for the construction of the Jalan Lintas Selatan Lot 2: Bululawang - Sidomulyo - Tambakrejo worth IDR 410.6 billion.
The project aims to improve accessibility and support tourism development along the South Coast of Blitar Regency.
The project has shown significant development with progress reaching 69.86%, far exceeding the initial target of 31.545%.
Under construction since 20 December 2023 and scheduled for completion on 4 October 2026, the project strengthens the connectivity of the southern route of Java Island and encourages local economic growth.
In addition to infrastructure, PTPP applies cutting-edge technology such as load scanners for material efficiency, LIDAR Scanner & BIM for volume calculation accuracy, and Portable Safety Net as protection in high cliff locations. Flexible pavement design is also applied to increase the durability of national roads.
PTPP Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, emphasised the company's commitment in supporting sustainable development.
‘The application of technology and solid teamwork allows the acceleration of the project while maintaining high quality and safety,’ he said in an information disclosure on Thursday (6/3).(DK/LM)
