Prajogo Pangestu divests 5 million shares of TPIA

JAKARTA – On Wednesday, March 5, the list of share ownership changes exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) included Prajogo Pangestu's divestment of 5 million shares of PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA), a petrochemical company, bringing his shareholding down to 5.05%.
Levoca Enterprise, a foreign investor, also reportedly purchased an additional 466.73 million shares in PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR), a manufacturing and infrastructure firm. The investor's shares went from 25.36% to 25.63% after the acquisition through PT MNC Sekuritas.
Then, through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk added a 121.76 million share stake in PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA). The investor now holds a 20.08% stake in this metal ore mining company.
Thereafter, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk, the controller of media issuer PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), acquired more than 37.48 million shares of SCMA, gaining 62.72% of the company today. Shares were purchased by the controller via PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia.
Next, with 12.5% ownership, PT Dua Samudera Perkasa purchased 23.72 million shares of PT Dana Brata Luhur Tbk (TEBE), the parent company of capital participation. Next, PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI), a bread manufacturer, purchased 2.17 million of its own shares, bringing its ownership stake to 8.38%.
However, by releasing 126.52 million shares of oil and gas investment business PT Raharja Energi Cepu Tbk (RATU), PT Rukun Raharja Tbk executed the greatest share sale. After executing the transaction through PT Henan Putihrai Sekuritas, this controller currently owns 75.34% of the shares.
Additionally, 10.36 million shares of PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML), a shipping and logistics company, were sold by PT Goldfive Investment Capital, leaving 45.26% of the shares remaining. After that, PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk, MTWI's controller, released 2.01 million shares of PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI), keeping 86.61% of the remaining shares.
Lastly, 2.52 million shares of cybersecurity solution provider PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR) were sold by INV Management Pte Ltd. This foreign investor and controller owns 45.1% of the remaining shares. (KD/ZH)
