CMRY and HEAL join FTSE Global Equity Shariah Index

JAKARTA – FTSE Russell has included PT Cisarua Mountain Dairy Tbk (CMRY) and PT Hermina Medikaloka Tbk (HEAL) as constituents of the FTSE Global Equity Shariah Index following its quarterly review.
In addition, FTSE has removed one issuer from the list, namely PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA).
“Changes will be implemented after the market closes on Friday, March 21, 2025, and will take effect from Monday, March 24, 2025,” FTSE stated in its official announcement.
It should be noted that the FTSE Global Equity Shariah Index includes 2,091 constituent companies from various sectors worldwide.
However, the number of Indonesian constituents, from the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, stands at just 25 companies. Meanwhile, China has the highest number of constituents, with 641 companies included in the index.
At the beginning of this week’s trading, CMRY’s share price weakened by 2.93% to IDR 4,490 per share. The processed food producer’s shares were traded with a P/E Ratio of 23.45.
Meanwhile, HEAL’s share price rose by 0.75% to IDR 1,335 per share at the start of this week, with a P/E Ratio of 35.73. (KR/ZH)
